ABOUT THE COMMS ISSUE
Hey there, thanks for stopping by! My name is Babett and I created The Comms Issue out of curiosity to dig deeper into the big and small issues that concern us today.
One day this might mean an article on celebrities scrambling for relevancy during a pandemic. Another day I might write about my favourite independent restaurants in East London.
I'm at the very beginning of this journey, so join me for the ride if you're interested in comms, culture and everything in-between.
Babett Kürschner (who am I kidding, we both know it's me writing this) is a Year 2 BA Public Relations student at the University of the Arts London, set to graduate with first class honours in 2021.
After working in the communications departments of two non-profit organisations next to her business-law studies in Vienna, Austria she decided she wanted to pursue a degree in a field she was truly passionate about: public relations.
Now based in London, Babett has gained PR experience at feminist magazines and luxury jewellery companies alike. When she isn't busy writing articles for The Comms Issue, she spends her time keeping up with politics, health and tech as well as shamelessly dancing to 90s Eurodance music.
